Recipe - Double Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies with Van Houten Dark Chocolate Chunks (55%)

These cookies are taking the internet by storm for their intense chocolate flavor and fudgy texture. The secret lies in using both melted dark chocolate and chopped dark chocolate chunks, creating a double dose of chocolatey goodness.

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup packed light brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

8 ounces bittersweet chocolate (60-70% cacao), chopped (about 1 ½ cups)

1 cup Van Houten Dark Chocolate Chunks (55%)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
